Installation & Handling
Installation Guidelines
- Clean and level the subfloor before installation
- Loose-lay for temporary installations; adhesive for permanent
- Allow 24-48 hours for rubber to acclimatise at room temperature
- Cut to size using a sharp utility knife and straight edge
- Leave 3-5mm expansion gap at walls and fixed objects

High-density rubber maintains structural integrity under static loads. May show temporary compression marks which recover over time.
How long does the rubber smell last?
New rubber odour typically dissipates within 2-4 weeks in well-ventilated spaces. Accelerate by cleaning with mild detergent.
Can I use this with underfloor heating?
Yes, rubber matting is compatible with underfloor heating systems. May slightly reduce heat transfer efficiency.
