From livery file to pit lane in four steps

PNG, JPG, PDF or SVG from the livery designer, plus any sponsor logos. The designer removes white backgrounds and suggests the mat colour that shows them best.

Pick a standard size or type the garage or awning measurements. Add the livery Pantone or HEX references and the price updates as you go.

Approve the free proof

We email a print-ready proof for the team and the sponsors. Change anything you like, as many times as you like, before we print.

Delivered free

Indoor mats arrive 5–7 working days after approval, outdoor mats 7–10, with a VAT invoice for the team accounts.

Questions from team managers and crew chiefs

Racing team mat FAQs

Can we put all our sponsors on it?

Yes, at no extra cost. Upload the team mark and the sponsor logos and place them on the proof, or send the files with the order notes and we will lay them out as a sponsor board. Any number of colours is included.

Can you print silver, chrome or metallic livery colours?

As a solid tone. Metallic and chrome effects cannot be printed into carpet pile, so a silver or gold is matched to its closest solid grey or gold, which reads as metallic against navy, black or red. The proof shows exactly how it will look before we print.

Will it survive the transporter and a season of circuits?

Yes. The mat is loose-lay with no adhesive, so it rolls up, travels in the truck and unrolls flat at the next round. The polyamide pile and vinyl backing are specified for commercial entrances and the outdoor mat's rubber backing is made for wet ground.

Is it an oil or fuel mat?

No. It is a printed branding and entrance mat, not an absorbent. Keep a drip tray or absorbent pad under the car or bike and wipe any fuel or oil off the mat quickly; it will take the odd drip but it is not designed to soak up spills.

Can we park the bike or car on it?

A bike on a paddock stand or a car rolled across it is fine; the pile recovers. Avoid leaving hot slicks or tyre warmers on the pile and avoid jacking directly through it, as a point load will mark it.

What goes on the paddock tarmac?

The outdoor logo mat. Its 3 mm nitrile rubber backing has moulded drainage channels so rain runs through, a 2 cm rubber border and a UV-stable pile that will not fade over a season. It hoses or pressure-washes clean.

How do we cover a 3 m or 6 m awning?

The widest single mat is 200 cm, up to 650 cm long. For a 3 m awning front lay two 150 cm wide mats side by side, or one 200 cm mat centred at the entrance. Email the awning size and we will suggest the cleanest layout.

Is it fire rated for the garage?

Indoor logo mats are classified Cfl-s1 and outdoor logo mats Dfl-s1 to EN 13501-1. The classification is shown on the specification sheet you can download from each product page for circuit or scrutineering paperwork.

How quickly can we have it for the first round?

Approve the proof and an indoor mat is made and delivered within 5–7 working days, an outdoor mat within 7–10. Order a fortnight before the opening round and it will be in the truck for the first test day.

Can the team pay on invoice?

Order online with a card for the fastest turnaround, or email the purchase order to sales@rubbermattingco.co.uk and we will send a pro-forma invoice with the proof. A VAT invoice is issued with every order.
