Can we order with a purchase order and pay on invoice?

Order online with a card for the fastest turnaround, or email the purchase order to sales@rubbermattingco.co.uk and we will send a pro-forma invoice with the proof. A VAT invoice is issued with every order.

Is the mat fire rated for a school?

Yes. Indoor logo mats are classified Cfl-s1 and outdoor logo mats Dfl-s1 to EN 13501-1. The classification is shown on the specification sheet you can download from each product page for your fire risk assessment file.

Will it be a trip hazard in a busy entrance?

Indoor mats are 8 mm thick with a flat 15 mm border and a non-slip vinyl backing that grips tiles, vinyl and laminate. Outdoor mats have a 2 cm moulded rubber border. For an existing recess, choose the matwell option and the mat is made without a border to sit flush.

What file do you need for the school crest?

Any clear logo file works: PNG, JPG, PDF or SVG. A vector file from the school's print supplier gives the sharpest result, but a good-quality PNG from the website is fine for most crests. The designer warns you if the file is too small to print well.

Can you match our exact school colours?

Yes. Enter the Pantone or HEX reference from the school brand guidelines and the mat and print are matched to it at no extra cost. If you only have a uniform swatch, send a photo and we will match it on the proof.

How do we clean it during term time?

Vacuum daily and machine wash at 30°C with no detergent when it looks tired; dry flat. Outdoor mats are shaken or hosed off and can go in a machine at up to 50°C. Most schools wash entrance mats at half term.

How long does a school logo mat last?

The 950 g/m² polyamide pile and vinyl backing are specified for commercial entrances with heavy foot traffic. With regular washing a school entrance mat typically gives several years of service before the print softens.

Can we have different mats for each house or year group?

Yes. Each mat is printed individually, so a set of four house mats in four colours costs the same as four identical mats. Design each one in the designer and add them to the same basket.

What about an outdoor mat for the playground door?

Choose the outdoor logo mat. It has a 3 mm nitrile rubber backing with moulded drainage channels, so rain runs through instead of pooling, and it will not curl, crack or fade in frost or sun.

How quickly can we have it for the start of term?

Approve the proof and an indoor mat is made and delivered within 5–7 working days, an outdoor mat within 7–10. Order two weeks before the holiday ends and it will be at the door for the first day back.

Do you deliver to schools in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland?

Delivery is free to any UK mainland address, including Scotland and Wales. For Northern Ireland, the Highlands and islands, contact us for a delivery quote before ordering.

Can the mat go in an existing matwell?

Yes. Measure the recess, choose the matwell fit in the designer and enter the exact size. The mat is made without a border so it drops in flush. A tolerance of up to 2.5 cm per side applies to all printed mats.
