Sports club and gym logo mat FAQs

Will studded boots damage the print?

The crest is printed into the polyamide fibres rather than stuck on top, so studs and blades do not peel it off. Studs will flatten the pile where boots are scraped, which lifts again after a wash. For a boot-scraping spot right outside the door choose the outdoor mat, which has a solution-dyed 7 mm pile and a rubber backing.

Does mud actually wash out?

Yes. Shake or hose the worst off, then machine wash at 30°C with no detergent and dry flat. Grass stains, mud and spilt pints come out of the pile. Most clubs keep two mats and rotate them on match days.

Can we put the sponsor's logo on it too?

Yes, at no extra cost. Upload both files and place them on the proof, or send them with the order notes and we will set the sponsor beside or below the crest. Any number of colours is included, so a full-colour sponsor logo costs the same as a plain one.

Can you match our kit colours exactly?

Yes. Enter the Pantone or HEX reference from your kit supplier or badge file and the mat and print are matched to it at no extra cost. If you only have a shirt, send a photo in daylight and we will match it on the proof.

What goes at the changing-room door?

The outdoor logo mat. Its 3 mm nitrile rubber backing has moulded drainage channels so hose water runs through, a 2 cm rubber border and a UV-stable pile that will not fade over a season. Print "Home", "Away" and "Officials" on separate mats if you like.

Will it sit flat on rubber gym flooring?

Yes. The non-slip vinyl backing grips rubber tiles, vinyl and concrete, and the 8 mm profile with a flat 15 mm border lies flush so members and kit bags roll over it. For a recess, choose the matwell fit and the mat is made without a border.

Is it fire rated for a licensed clubhouse?

Indoor logo mats are classified Cfl-s1 and outdoor logo mats Dfl-s1 to EN 13501-1. The classification is shown on the specification sheet you can download from each product page for the committee's fire risk assessment.

Can the club pay on invoice?

Order online with a card for the fastest turnaround, or email the purchase order to sales@rubbermattingco.co.uk and we will send a pro-forma invoice with the proof. A VAT invoice is issued with every order for the treasurer.

How quickly can we have it for the start of the season?

Approve the proof and an indoor mat is made and delivered within 5–7 working days, an outdoor mat within 7–10. Order a fortnight before the first home fixture and it will be at the door for kick-off.

We run several leisure centres. Can we order them together?

Yes. Every mat is printed individually, so ten centres with ten names cost the same as ten identical mats. Design each one and add them to one basket, or email the list and we will proof them together with trade pricing.
