Description
Forbo Sarlon Colour in Pearl Cristal is a commercial-grade acoustic sheet vinyl with a fine, all-over crystal texture in a soft pearl tone. At 3.4mm thick with a 0.7mm wear layer and a cushioned backing, it cuts impact sound by 19dB, which makes it a popular choice for classrooms, wards, offices and student accommodation. Sold per linear metre from a 2m wide roll.

Installation & care
- Store and acclimatise the roll flat at room temperature for at least 24 hours before fitting.
- Make sure the subfloor is smooth, dry, clean and sound. Use a levelling compound where needed.
- Cut to size with a sharp hooked blade, leaving a small margin to trim at the walls.
- Fully bond with a suitable vinyl adhesive and roll the floor to remove air pockets.
- Clean with a neutral pH cleaner and a mop or rotary machine. Avoid abrasive pads.
FAQs
How much do I need?
The roll is 2m wide, so each linear metre covers 2 square metres. Divide your room width by 2 and round up to find the number of drops, then add the drop lengths together.
Is it suitable for underfloor heating?
Yes, provided the surface temperature does not exceed 27°C. Follow the manufacturer's fitting guidance.
Are other colours available?
Sarlon Colour comes in a range of uni and cristal shades. Contact us if you need a colour other than Pearl Cristal.
How are multiple metres supplied?
Ordering several linear metres normally gives you one continuous length.
