Description
Club logo mats that take muddy boots and still show the crest. Your crest, kit colours and sponsor printed in full colour for the clubhouse door, the bar, the gym reception and the studios. Every mat is printed into a dense 950 g/m² polyamide pile with a non-slip vinyl backing, Cfl-s1 fire rated for licensed clubhouses, and it goes in the washing machine at 30°C when the mud builds up.

Where clubs use them
- Clubhouse, bar and function room: 85 × 150 cm for the clubhouse door, 115 × 180 cm for double doors, with the crest, club name and founding year in the kit colours.
- Gym reception, studios and leisure centre: brand colour and wordmark at the turnstile or desk, studio names or class messages on each door. Sits flat on rubber gym tiles, vinyl and concrete.
- Boot room and office: 60 × 85 cm with "Players only" or "Office" in the same finish.
- Changing rooms, boot-scraping spots and pitch-side: use the rubber-backed outdoor logo mat, which has drainage channels and a UV-stable pile that survives studs, rain and the hose. Print "Home", "Away" and "Officials" on separate mats.
How it works
- Choose one of 16 standard sizes, or enter your own up to 200 cm wide and 650 cm long, and tell us whether it sits on the floor or in a matwell.
- Upload the crest (PNG, JPG, SVG, PDF, AI or EPS) from the kit supplier or the club website, pick the mat colour or give us your kit Pantone or HEX reference, and add to basket.
- Your proof arrives by email within one working day. Approve it, or ask for changes, and we start printing.
Which size do I need?
- 60 × 85 cm: boot room, office or store door.
- 85 × 120 cm: changing-room door.
- 85 × 150 cm: the clubhouse door. Our most popular club size.
- 115 × 180 cm: gym reception double doors.
- 150 × 150 cm: function room or bar square.
- 115 × 300 cm: sports-hall or corridor runner.
- Custom size: enter your own measurements above. Measure the clear floor space inside the door and leave 5–10 cm on each side. Mats are cut to order, so the finished size can vary by up to 2.5 cm per side.
- Matwell: measure the recess itself, not the doorway, and choose "In a matwell" so we make it without the border.

Washing and care
- Match day: shake or vacuum the worst off. A clean mat traps more mud and keeps its colour longer. Blot spills with clean lukewarm water only, no detergent or stain remover.
- Machine washing: delicate cycle, low spin, never above 30°C. Wash the mat on its own with no detergent or fabric softener, unfolded, in a machine large enough for the mat.
- Drying: dry flat, out of direct sunlight. Do not tumble dry.
Artwork tips
A vector file (SVG, PDF, AI or EPS) from the kit supplier gives the sharpest print. If you only have a PNG or JPG from the club website, send the largest version you have, ideally 1,000 pixels wide or more. Our designers tidy edges, remove backgrounds and match colours as part of the free proof.
Questions from secretaries, groundsmen and gym owners
Will studded boots damage the print?
The crest is printed into the polyamide fibres rather than stuck on top, so studs and blades do not peel it off. Studs will flatten the pile where boots are scraped, which lifts again after a wash. For a boot-scraping spot right outside the door choose the outdoor mat, which has a solution-dyed 7 mm pile and a rubber backing.
Does mud actually wash out?
Yes. Shake or hose the worst off, then machine wash at 30°C with no detergent and dry flat. Grass stains, mud and spilt pints come out of the pile. Most clubs keep two mats and rotate them on match days.
Can we put the sponsor's logo on it too?
Yes, at no extra cost. Upload both files and place them on the proof, or send them with the order notes and we will set the sponsor beside or below the crest. Any number of colours is included, so a full-colour sponsor logo costs the same as a plain one.
Can you match our kit colours exactly?
Yes. Enter the Pantone or HEX reference from your kit supplier or badge file and the mat and print are matched to it at no extra cost. If you only have a shirt, send a photo in daylight and we will match it on the proof.
What goes at the changing-room door?
The outdoor logo mat. Its 3 mm nitrile rubber backing has moulded drainage channels so hose water runs through, a 2 cm rubber border and a UV-stable pile that will not fade over a season. Print "Home", "Away" and "Officials" on separate mats if you like.
Will it sit flat on rubber gym flooring?
Yes. The non-slip vinyl backing grips rubber tiles, vinyl and concrete, and the 8 mm profile with a flat 15 mm border lies flush so members and kit bags roll over it. For a recess, choose the matwell fit and the mat is made without a border.
Is it fire rated for a licensed clubhouse?
Yes. The mat is classified Cfl-s1 to EN 13501-1. The classification is on the specification sheet above for the committee's fire risk assessment. The outdoor mat is Dfl-s1.
Can the club pay on invoice?
Order online with a card for the fastest turnaround, or email the purchase order to sales@rubbermattingco.co.uk and we will send a pro-forma invoice with the proof. A VAT invoice is issued with every order for the treasurer.
How quickly can we have it for the start of the season?
Approve the proof and the mat is made and delivered within 5–7 working days. Order a fortnight before the first home fixture and it will be at the door for kick-off. A 2–3 working day express service is available on request.
We run several leisure centres. Can we order them together?
Yes. Every mat is printed individually, so ten centres with ten names cost the same as ten identical mats. Design each one and add them to one basket, or email the list and we will proof them together with trade pricing.
