Our Anti Fatigue Mat puts a layer of closed-cell vinyl foam between your team and the floor, cushioning every step, encouraging the small muscle movements that keep blood flowing, and insulating against cold floors. Workers stay comfortable and alert for longer, and that shows in fewer aches, fewer breaks and better output at packing benches, assembly lines, lab counters and service desks.
Choose the surface that suits your workplace. Pebble and Ribbed are our 9.4 mm light-duty foams for dry areas with steady standing. Diamond steps up to a 12.7 mm foam with a tough vinyl top coat that gives around 50% more wear resistance for busier stations and workshops. All three have anti-trip bevelled edges on every side. Pebble and Diamond are also available with a high-visibility yellow safety border. How to order
Pick a texture, a colour and a size
- Texture. Pebble or Ribbed for everyday benches, counters and packing stations. Diamond where the mat will see trolleys, heavy boots, pivoting or multi-shift use.
- Colour. Black blends in. Black with a yellow border marks the safe standing area and is the usual choice on production floors.
- Stock mats. 60 x 90 cm suits a single standing position. 90 x 150 cm covers a bench. 90 x 300 cm and 120 x 180 cm cover a line or a two-person station.
- Cut to length. Switch the buy box to Cut to length, pick 60, 90 or 120 cm wide, then type the length in centimetres. The price appears instantly and we supply it as one continuous piece. Use the quantity box if you need several pieces of the same length.
- Full rolls. 18.3 m rolls are the most economical way to mat a whole line, and you can cut them on site with a sharp knife and straight edge.
Care and placement
Get the longest life from your mat
- Use in dry areas only. The foam is not suitable for oily, wet or chemical-exposed floors.
- Lay flat on a clean, swept floor. Mats lie flat straight from the box; rolls relax within a day.
- Sweep or vacuum daily. Wash with cold water and a mild detergent when needed and let it air dry.
- Do not drag heavy equipment across the mat or leave point loads such as steel table legs on it for long periods.
- For a fixed installation, double-sided carpet tape at the corners is enough. Adhesive is not needed.
Frequently asked questions
Which texture should I choose?
Pebble and Ribbed perform the same and are the right choice for most dry workstations, so pick on looks. Choose Diamond if the station is busy all shift, if people pivot and turn a lot, or if wheeled stools or trolleys cross the mat.
How does cut-to-length ordering work?
Switch to Cut to length in the buy box, choose the width and type any length from 50 cm to 1830 cm. The price is worked out per centimetre and shown before you add it to the basket. We cut it as a single continuous piece and dispatch within 2 to 3 working days.
Can I use it in a wet or oily area?
No. These foam mats are for dry areas. For wet or oily workplaces look at our rubber anti-fatigue and drainage mats.
Is it suitable for wheelchairs?
Yes. The bevelled edges ramp down to the floor on every side so wheels roll on without catching.
Will it move on the floor?
The foam has a naturally grippy underside and stays put under normal use on concrete, vinyl and epoxy. On very smooth polished floors a strip of double-sided tape at each corner keeps it fixed.
Can I cut it myself?
Yes. A sharp utility knife and a straight edge cut it cleanly, so a roll can be trimmed around machine bases and columns.
How long will it last?
In a dry, single-shift workstation the 9.4 mm foams typically give one to two years of comfort. Diamond, with its coated surface and extra thickness, lasts considerably longer in busy areas. All versions carry a 12-month guarantee.
Can you supply bespoke widths?
Standard widths are 60, 90 and 120 cm. For other widths or large multi-station projects, contact our team for a quote.
Note: Cut-to-length mats are made to order and cannot be returned unless faulty. Stock sizes and full rolls can be returned unused within 14 days. Sizes are nominal with a tolerance of plus or minus 2%.
