Stop slipping on wet, mossy decking. These heavy-duty 16mm rubber grip mats lay straight on top of decking, ramps and paths. Rain drains away through the open holes, so the surface you walk on stays grippy all year round. Each 910mm x 910mm mat interlocks with the next, so you can lay a safe path of any length in minutes, with no tools and no fixings.

How many do I need?
Each mat is 0.91m long and covers 0.83m². For a path, divide its length in metres by 0.91 and round up (a 5m path needs 6 mats). For edging, order 1 length per metre of exposed side.

Installation & care
- Sweep the decking or path and remove moss and debris.
- Lay the first mat, then clip the next one onto its edge lugs.
- Fit safety edges or ramps along any exposed sides.
- Lift now and then to clear leaves and let the boards underneath dry.
- Hose down or scrub with warm water to clean.
FAQs
Will the mats move about?
They're heavy 16mm rubber and interlock together, so a laid path stays put without fixings.
Do I need edging?
It's optional, but recommended on any side people step on or off, as it removes the 16mm step and makes the edge easy to see.
Can I cut the mats?
Yes, with a sharp utility knife, to fit around posts, steps or corners.
Will they damage my decking?
No fixings go into the boards. Lift and clean underneath occasionally so leaves and moisture don't stay trapped against the timber.
Can I use them on a ramp?
Yes. Lay them up the slope and add a black ramp edge at the top and bottom for a smooth transition.
