Description
Nitrile (NBR) rubber sheet is chosen where ordinary rubber would soften or swell on contact with oils, fuels and greases. This commercial-grade sheet is 1400mm wide, cut to the length you order, and comes in 1.5mm to 6mm thicknesses. It is used for oil-resistant floor covering, bench and tray liners, gaskets and protective pads in workshops and industry.

Fitting & care
- Measure the area or part and order the linear metres you need.
- Mark out shapes with a pen or scriber on the sheet.
- Cut with a sharp knife against a straight edge, or use a gasket cutter for holes.
- Fix in place with a suitable adhesive, or loose-lay as a mat or liner.
- Wipe clean with a cloth and degreaser-free detergent.
FAQs
What is the difference between nitrile and EPDM?
Nitrile is chosen for resistance to oils and fuels. EPDM is chosen for weather and UV resistance outdoors, but is not suited to oil contact.
Can I cut gaskets from it?
Yes. The 1.5mm and 3mm thicknesses are commonly used for cutting gaskets and seals by hand.
Is it suitable for every chemical?
Nitrile handles oils and fuels well, but resistance varies with specific chemicals. Check compatibility for anything other than oils, fuels and greases.
