Installation Guide
- Ensure the subfloor or surface is clean, dry, level, and free from loose debris, grease, or contamination prior to installation
- Unroll the matting and allow it to relax and lie flat — if stored or delivered in cold conditions, allow 24–48 hours for the rubber to acclimatise to ambient temperature before fitting
- For temporary or loose-lay installations, trim to the required dimensions and position in place — the weight and friction of the rubber will hold it in position under normal use
- For permanent or outdoor installations, apply a suitable contact adhesive evenly to both the subfloor and the underside of the roll, allow to become tacky, then press firmly and evenly into position
- Trim to your exact required size using a sharp utility knife guided carefully along a firm straight edge
- Leave a 3–5mm expansion gap around walls, fixed edges, and structural elements to allow for natural thermal movement of the rubber
