Description
Stop dirt and rain at the door with heavy contract entrance matting cut to the exact length you need. The 10.5mm polypropylene pile scrapes and traps grit and moisture, and the waterproof gel backing grips the floor and stops water soaking through. Choose a straight ribbed design or a bold chevron, each in six colours, on a 2m wide roll.
Why choose this matting
Heavy contract rated
Built for busy entrances that lead straight in from outside, from offices and shops to schools and clinics.
Traps dirt and water
The raised ribs or chevrons brush grit off shoes, and the channels hold it away from your floors until you vacuum.
Waterproof gel backing
Rot-proof, impervious and slip resistant, so the mat stays put and wet does not reach the floor below.
Cut to your size
Sold by the linear metre on a 2m wide roll. Trim with a sharp knife to fit any doorway or lobby.
Ideal for
- Office receptions
- Shop entrances
- Hotels and restaurants
- Schools and colleges
- Clinics and care homes
- Home hallways

How to order
Choose your design and colour, then set the quantity to the number of metres you need. For example, a quantity of 3 gives one continuous piece 2m wide and 3m long. The ribs and the chevron points run along the length of the roll, so measure the length in your walking direction.
Installation & care
- Unroll on a clean, flat floor and let it settle.
- Mark the size on the back and cut with a sharp knife and straight edge.
- Loose lay, or stick down with double-sided carpet tape in busy areas.
- Vacuum regularly with a beater or brush-bar cleaner to lift trapped dirt.
FAQs
Can I use it outdoors?
It is designed for indoor entrances just inside the door. Use a rubber scraper mat outside for exposed areas.
Will the edges fray when cut?
No. The pile is bonded into the gel backing, so a clean knife cut stays neat.
Which design is better?
Both perform the same. Ribbed gives a classic commercial look, and chevron adds a bolder pattern that hides dirt well.
