A premium entrance mat for the doors that see the most traffic. A bi-level herringbone surface scrapes dirt from shoes and wipes them dry in one pass, then stores the dirt and water below shoe level. A raised rubber water-dam border holds up to 1.5 US gallons of water per square yard, so it stays in the mat instead of running onto your floor.

The face fabric is made from at least 90% recycled plastic bottles, and the rubber backing contains 20% recycled tyre rubber. Solution-dyed fibres resist staining and fading, dry quickly and will not rot, so the mat keeps looking smart in reception areas, shops and schools.
Why it outperforms a standard barrier mat
Scrapes and wipes in one
Raised herringbone ridges scrape grit from soles while the fabric between them wipes away moisture. The dirt drops below shoe level so it is not walked further into the building.
Water-dam border
The raised rubber border holds water in the mat, up to 1.5 US gallons per square yard, about 6.8 litres per square metre.
Nubs that do not crush
The surface ridges are reinforced with rubber, so they keep their shape under heavy footfall and the mat does not wear a flat path.

Certified high-traction by the National Floor Safety Institute (NFSI), with bevelled edges for a safe, trip-free step on and off.
Made from recycled bottles

Rule of thumb: match the mat width to the door opening, and give visitors at least two full strides on the mat, about 150 cm. The longer the walk across the mat, the more dirt and water it removes. Not every colour is made in every size. The size list updates when you choose a colour.

Cleaning and care
Simple routine, long life
- Vacuum daily in busy commercial entrances, or weekly where traffic is lighter.
- To remove heavy soil, hose the mat off or clean it with a carpet extraction machine.
- Hang the mat to dry.
- Make sure the mat is fully dry before you put it back down.
- Do not put it in a commercial washing machine.
Frequently asked questions
How much water does it hold?
Up to 1.5 US gallons per square yard, about 6.8 litres per square metre. An 89 x 150 cm mat can hold around 9 litres before it needs drying out.
Which size do I need?
Match the width to your door opening and allow at least 150 cm of depth for two strides. For double doors, start at 180 x 180 cm.
Why can't I choose every size in every colour?
Each colour is made in a set range of sizes. Black Smoke has the widest choice, from 61 x 89 cm up to 180 x 607 cm.
Is it really made from recycled materials?
Yes. The face fabric is at least 90% recycled plastic bottles, and the rubber backing contains 20% recycled tyre rubber.
Will it fade or stain?
The fibres are solution dyed, so the colour runs right through. They resist staining and fading and will not rot.
Is it safe for wheelchairs and pushchairs?
Yes. The bevelled rubber edges give a smooth transition from the floor onto the mat.
Will it slide on a smooth floor?
The rubber backing grips the floor, and the mat is certified high-traction by the National Floor Safety Institute.
Can I machine wash it?
No. Vacuum it regularly, and hose it off or use a carpet extractor for a deeper clean, then hang it to dry.
How does it compare with your super absorbent waffle mat?
Both are heavy-duty entrance mats with water-dam borders. This herringbone mat comes in much larger sizes for main entrances and is made from recycled materials. The waffle mat is a lower-cost choice for single doors.
