Description
Our Heavy Duty Commercial Entrance Mat stops dirt and water at the door, before they reach your floors. A dense 10 mm pile of regenerated polyamide (722 g/m²) wipes shoes clean and holds moisture, rated 5 out of 5 for absorbency. The nitrile rubber backing grips the floor, and a moulded 2 cm border keeps the edges flat. It is made for busy indoor entrances in offices, shops, schools, hotels and healthcare. It is antistatic, fire rated Cfl-s1 and fully washable, and comes in four sizes and four colours.

Choosing a size
- 60 x 85 cm suits a single door or a quieter side entrance.
- 85 x 150 cm covers a single commercial door and gives two to three steps on the mat.
- 115 x 180 cm spans most double doors.
- 150 x 200 cm suits wide or very busy entrances and lobbies.

Fitting & care
- Lay the mat flat on a clean, dry floor just inside the entrance.
- Position it so people take several steps across it as they come in.
- Vacuum daily in busy entrances and weekly in quieter ones.
- Spot clean marks with a mild detergent and a soft brush, then rinse.
- For a deep clean, launder at up to 49°C and tumble dry below 82°C. Make sure the mat is completely dry before laying it back down.
FAQs
Can it go outdoors?
No. It is an indoor entrance mat. For outside the door, pair it with one of our rubber outdoor scraper mats to remove grit first.
Can it be machine washed?
Yes. Launder at up to 49°C. Larger sizes need a commercial machine; smaller sizes may fit a large domestic machine.
Will it slide on a smooth floor?
The nitrile rubber backing grips tiles, vinyl, wood and stone. On very polished floors it stays in place in normal use.
Which colour hides dirt best?
Black and Brown are the most forgiving in very busy entrances. Grey and Green suit brighter interiors.
Is it suitable for wheelchairs?
Yes. The low pile and slim bevelled rubber border let wheelchairs, prams and trolleys roll across easily.
