- Prepare the subfloor — ensure it is clean, flat, and free from loose debris before laying.
- For temporary use, loose-lay the mats without adhesive for easy lifting and repositioning.
- For permanent installations, apply a suitable outdoor adhesive to secure mats firmly in place.
- Allow 24–48 hours for the rubber to acclimatise to ambient temperature before final fitting.
- Trim to fit using a sharp utility knife and a straight edge — cuts cleanly and accurately.
- Leave a 3–5mm expansion gap along walls and fixed structures to allow for natural movement.
