Description
Stop worn, muddy patches under swings, in gateways and on busy lawn paths. These rubber grass mats protect the turf while grass grows up through the open holes, so the area stays green, firm underfoot and free-draining. Each mat is 1.5m x 1.0m, in 23mm or 16mm thickness, with or without pegs and ties.

How many mats do I need?
Each mat covers 1.5m². Measure your area in square metres and divide by 1.5. For example, a 3m x 3m swing area (9m²) needs 6 mats.

Installation & care
- Cut the grass short and clear stones and debris.
- Lay the mats flat, butting edges closely together.
- Join neighbouring mats with ties through the edge holes.
- Peg the mats into the ground to stop them moving.
- Mow as normal once the grass grows through, and clear leaves from the surface.
FAQs
Will the grass die underneath?
No. The open holes let light, air and water reach the grass so it keeps growing through the mat.
Do I need the pegs and ties?
For a new installation, yes – choose the with pegs and ties option for each mat so the mats are anchored and joined. Choose mat only if you already have fixings.
Can I lay them on a hard surface?
They are designed for grass and soft ground, where the grass grows through and the pegs can anchor them.
Can I cut them?
Yes, they can be trimmed to fit around obstacles with a sharp heavy-duty knife.
