Description
Ribbed rubber matting has parallel raised ribs that add grip and help channel water and debris off the walking surface. This black matting is 1.2m wide and 6mm thick, and it is sold per linear metre so you can cover a walkway, workstation or vehicle floor to the exact length.

Installation & care
- Unroll and allow the matting to relax flat.
- Clean the subfloor and remove debris.
- Cut to size with a sharp knife, deciding whether ribs run across or along the route.
- Fix with adhesive or tape on ramps and where trolleys run.
- Brush along the ribs and wash with warm detergent solution.
FAQs
Which direction should the ribs run?
Laying ribs across the direction of travel generally gives the most grip; along the route makes cleaning and trolley use easier.
Is it suitable for electrical work?
No. This is general ribbed matting and is not certified as electrical insulating matting.
How are multiple metres supplied?
Multiple linear metres are normally supplied as one continuous piece.
