Description
Wet, gritty forklift tyres are one of the biggest causes of slippery, dirty warehouse floors. Our Forklift Truck Mat Tiles sit across the doorway and clean the wheels as the truck drives in. A tightly woven polypropylene surface scrubs off grit and soaks up water, and the rubber backing takes the weight of forklifts and pallet trucks day after day. Each tile is 90 cm x 180 cm and just 8 mm high, so trucks and wheelchairs roll straight over. Lay tiles side by side to cover a doorway of any width and length, and fix them down with our heavy-duty double-sided tape.

How many tiles do I need?
- Measure the width of the doorway and how far into the building you want the mat to run.
- Lay tiles with the 180 cm side across the door: one tile across covers a door up to 1.8 m wide, two tiles cover up to 3.6 m.
- Each tile adds 90 cm of depth. Use at least three tiles deep (2.7 m) so the tyres turn fully on the mat and leave it clean and dry.
- Order one roll of tape for every four tiles. The starter pack gives you three tiles and a roll of tape at a lower price than buying them separately.
Installation & care
- Sweep the floor and make sure it is clean, smooth and dry.
- Turn each tile face down and run tape round all four edges and in an X across the middle.
- Peel the liner, place the tile and press down firmly, then butt the next tile tight against it.
- Clean by vacuuming, rinsing with cold water or a pressure washer. Detergents are not needed.
- For the longest life, drive straight across. Avoid turning on the tiles or dragging pallets over them.
FAQs
Can forklifts drive over these mats?
Yes. They are designed for warehouse entrances with forklift and pallet truck traffic. Taping them down stops the tiles moving under braking and acceleration.
Why are they sold as tiles?
Tiles fit any doorway, are easy to handle and install, and a worn or damaged tile can be swapped on its own without replacing the whole entrance.
Is tape included?
Single tiles do not include tape. Add a roll of tape (one per four tiles), or choose the starter pack, which includes three tiles and one roll.
Can they go outdoors?
They are made for indoor use just inside the door. For fully exposed outdoor areas, choose one of our rubber outdoor scraper mats.
Will they work in a chiller?
Yes. The rubber backing stays flexible down to -20°C, so the tiles suit chilled store and cold-chain entrances.
