Description
High-grip rubber matting for horsebox, trailer and livestock transporter ramps. The textured top gives hooves something to bite into, so horses walk up and down with confidence and loading is safer and quicker, without the wooden or rubber battens traditionally fixed across ramps. A fabric-reinforced backing makes it strong and stable, and it can be glued or screwed to the ramp.

Fitting & care
- Remove any old battens and clean the ramp so it is dry, flat and free of grease.
- Measure the ramp and cut the matting to size with a sharp knife against a straight edge.
- Fix with a suitable contact adhesive, or screw down with countersunk stainless screws and washers around the edges.
- Hose or brush clean after use; inspect edges and fixings regularly.
FAQs
Do I still need battens on the ramp?
No. The grip surface is designed to replace battens and chocks, giving horses an even, secure surface to walk on.
How do I fix it down?
Either glue it with a suitable contact adhesive or screw it down around the edges. Screwing lets you replace it more easily later.
1.2m or 1.5m wide?
Choose the width that covers your ramp in one piece; trim any excess along the edges. Most horsebox and trailer ramps are 1.2m to 1.5m wide.
How is the price worked out?
The price is per linear metre. Choose your width, then set the quantity to the number of metres you need. Full 50m rolls are available for fleets and dealers.
